Chuck Nichols

Chuck is the President of Nichols Farms and its sister company, Nichols Pistachio. Both are headquartered in Hanford, California. Nichols Pistachio hulls, processes, and markets all pistachios and almonds produced by Nichols Farms and a number of unrelated farming entities. Nichols Farms produces pistachios, almonds, cotton, and alfalfa on 6,500 acres in Tulare and Kings Counties.

Chuck is a graduate of University of California, Davis, with degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Agricultural Management. He is a graduate of the California Agricultural Leadership Program, a past President of Tulare County Farm Bureau, and a past chairman of the California Pistachio Commission.

He is Chairman of the California Pistachio Board, a group of California Processors representing 72% of the states pistachio production committed to quality standards, and is President of Central California Almond Growers Association, the largest almond huller and sheller in California. Chuck was employed as a field engineer with Schlumberger, Ltd. for 3 years prior to joining Nichols Farms in 1983.
