Karen Nester
Karen is the Controller of Nichols Farms and Nichols Pistachio. She joined the Nichols’ operation in 1997, and is responsible for the financial activities of both companies.
Prior to her employment by the Nichols’, Karen spent 7 years in managerial accounting for J.G. Boswell Company, and 4 years at a Big 5 accounting firm in Fresno, KPMG Peat Marwick. Karen is a graduate of Fresno State University in Business Administration - Accounting, and is licensed Certified Public Accountant in California. She grew up on a dairy farm in Laton, California.
